What are we?

Serenity is a residential, drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility located in Edmonton, Alberta. We serve clients of all types, shapes, sizes and identities suffering from addiction. Using only evidence-based methods and clinical practices to treat our members, our purpose is simple: bring you or your loved one, from Point A to B, whatever that may be, in the most effective way possible.

Our system

No one decides to become an addict. There are very complex and deeply personal reasons for falling prey to such a debilitating disorder. At Serenity, we see addiction as a by-product of underlying complications within one's mental and physical self. In essence, our team aims to connect with our members, outline goals and form a plan that we will execute together.

We do not consider 'success' as the mere ability to complete our 5-week program, but rather, re-establishing confidence in the individual by using customized treatment plans and life-time support systems. We aim to give you control of your life back, help you reconcile with your past and empower you to embrace the future.

Addiction does not discriminate

Everyone is susceptible, no one is immune. Daunting, yet, this just might be a good thing. Why? Because there is nothing, and there never was anything, wrong with someone affected by addiction. But, it is indeed a life challenge some of us may have to overcome.

So, how do we do what we do? First and foremost, the member must COMMIT. Which simply means that when a goal is established, come hell or high water, there is nothing stopping that individual from achieving said goal. And here's a secret... when someone fully commits to achieving something, or being a certain version of themselves, there isn't much more that they really need, because they WILL get there.

From there, we handle the rest. Our team of qualified professionals are just as committed to you or your loved one's success. Do not be mistaken - recovery is difficult. Overcoming addiction is said to be one of the most challenging things a person can do. But it's never impossible, nor too late. With confidence, our team, the affected individual and his or her family will work together to establish the greatest chance of success, as the only success that counts, is that of the whole team.
